Welcome!
UPDATE! Dave has received the St. Pete Time endorsement and the endorsement from the Board of Realtors

On March 10, 2009, the voters of Dunedin will go to the polls to choose the next Dunedin Mayor.

As you, I have a passion and love for our town.   For more than five years, I have been honored to serve you as a Dunedin City Commissioner, and with your help I would like to serve you and the citizens as Mayor of Dunedin.

Throughout my commission terms I have tried to represent you with integrity, effort and vision. I continue to learn every day, and I hope you feel I have been accessible, fair and open-minded on issues of importance to you. I am proud to say that during the past 5 years I have…

  • Focused my efforts to reduce spending and battle those wanting to raise taxes
  • Continued my commitment to infrastructure including an emphasis on stormwater
  • Helped preserve land for affordable housing going against a majority of commissioners
  • Promoted our city as one receptive to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
  • Pushed hard for a traffic calming program in our neighborhoods

We all are experiencing difficult economic times and the operation of our City is no different. The city is and will continue to be challenged to balance the many services we enjoy with the funds available.  We need people willing to show leadership by making tough decisions, by battling the status quo, by listening and being fair, and doing it all with integrity and passion.

My campaign is in full swing and I am asking for your support.  You can help by talking to 10 of your closest friends and neighbors about my track record on the issues and my commitment to Dunedin.  There are a variety of additional volunteer opportunities, so please go to the “Join Dave” page and fill out the form.

This campaign is truly a labor of love and I can’t do it without your support!   I want to serve the citizens of this great city as the next Mayor of Dunedin!  I’m asking for your vote on March 10th!

Dave
